An Angel On The Footpath

I love discovering symbolic gifts in nature, and this one is particularly dear to me. The photos below are the same tree root approached from different angles. From one direction I see an Angel’s Wing, from the other, a Hand pointing upwards.

This lovely gift is along the main path in Sanquhar Woods (Forres, Scotland). Sometimes, I walk by without noticing it. But when I do see it, it serves as a beautiful reminder to stay connected with spiritual well being, keep looking up, beyond the troubles of life and remember that nothing is as it seems. Whatever is manifesting in the world, I believe that if we look a little deeper we will discover that all is well. We may need to do some re-balancing, and there are things we need to take responsibility for, but when we do, I believe the unseen forces of nature comes to our aid. Look a little deeper and you may also discover what is possible when we align ourselves with the true balance in the heart of the natural world.
