The above words are an adaptation of a blessing in John O’Donohue’s book ‘Benedictus’ which I was first introduced to by someone whose book was worn at the edges and stuffed full of post-it notes. It was obviously loved, and my book has become a treasure I return to time-and-time again, for insight and inspiration. I particularly love this verse for it’s deeply welcoming sentiment,
It was John O’Donohue’s intention that his words bring a welcome in our physical homes. And it is my intention that this adaptation brings you a welcome here in my digital home.
