Support

We often go through life with a sense of expectancy, making plans and expecting things to run smoothly, or believing that tomorrow will be pretty much the same as today and at least include a level of predictability. In reality, there is no guarantee that everything will go according to plan, in fact it rarely does. Life is unpredictable, of that we can be sure, and sometimes it knocks us off balance.

The truth is, life is in perpetual motion and at some point everyone needs a helping hand, a reassuring hug, a shoulder to cry on or a reminder that, under the circumstances, we are doing the best we can.

People approach those moments differently, and though we may sometimes feel alone, we are not. If you are willing to seek help you will find it. There really is someone out there willing to offer what you need, and I believe there is also a divine presence guiding us through all of life’s challenges and bringing us back on track.

Sometimes this occurs naturally in the form of practical support from a friend, or a kind word from a stranger. Sometimes it is a synchronistic moment that calls you into alignment. Other times it may be less obvious and occasionally feels confrontational. Nonetheless, it is a subtle reminder that you have the capacity to re-connect with your own source of well-being.

I also believe healing occurs most naturally in a calm atmosphere of well-being, and that may be hard to find with the people who care the most. Occasionally it requires professional support, and sometimes it may be helpful to simply sit with someone who is willing to quietly support your innate capacity for self-care and healing.

I offer ‘Spiritual Accompaniment‘ in the form of listening, attunement and meditation or as an informal, friendly chat. On a practical level, this is a single (one time only) 20-40 minute online connection via Zoom.

Details

We meet in a confidential one-to-one video connection via Zoom where personal disclosure is not necessary. You are invited to share as much or as little as you like. The aim is for you to feel comfortable, relaxed and supported, so if a simple hello is all you want to share, this is perfectly okay. You may like to bring a verse, poem or something similar that feels appropriate for you at the moment, and if you like to chat this is also welcome.

Following this introduction I will lead us into silent meditation (approx 10-20 minutes depending on the remaining time available) and we will conclude with a few spoken words or reading a verse, poem or inspirational text.

My suggestion is that you create space around this session to enable you to prepare for our meeting and calmly re-connect with daily activities afterwards.

Follow-up sessions are available in the form of remote healing. Simply click/tap the heart button below or in our appointment confirmation whenever you feel the need of this service. You’re also welcome to select this option without meeting in Zoom.

Further Zoom meditation sessions can be arranged and remunerated by mutual attunement to our individual needs.
